The Red Devils staged an amazing comeback in their last match against Aston Villa to break a two match losing streak. Having taken an early lead in the first half, United looked to have once again thrown away a match as Villa first equalized through John Carew before Gabriel Agbonlahor put them in front midway through the second half.

The defending champions pressed ahead and equalized in the 80th minutes through Cristiano Ronaldo before a stunning strike from Federico Macheda wrapped up all the points in injury time.

Manager Alex Ferguson will be hoping that his side will be able to build on the victory and return back to form as he attempts to win his third straight Premier League title.

Sunderland on the other hand will be hoping to avoid a fourth defeat in a row on Saturday with the club still embroiled in a relegation battle. The Black Cats are just three points above the relegation zone and manager Ricky Sbragia will be hoping that his side will be able to collect the required number of points and avoid getting relegated come the end of the season.United will be without Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans with both the defenders out of action with injuries but will be able to welcome Nemanja Vidic who was suspended for the game against Aston Villa. There are some doubts over the availability of George McCartney for Sunderland with the defender yet to recover from a calf injury.

In premiership ligue,Liverpool will be hoping to recover from their Champions League debacle in time to maintain their challenge for the Premier League title when they welcome Blackburn Rovers on Saturday. Catch all the action from Premier League live here on Live Sport Network

Liverpool slumped to a heavy 3-1 defeat to Chelsea in their Champions League quarter final first leg game on Wednesday and will have to score at least three goals at Stamford Bridge if they are to progress to the next round.

Manager Rafa Benitez will be hoping that his side will be able to put behind the disappointing result and continue their excellent league form with another victory against Blackburn and maintain the pressure on Manchester United in the race for a Premier League title.

Blackburn Rovers on the other hand will be looking to build on their surprise victory over Tottenham Hotspur from last weekend and pull further away from the relegation zone. Two late goals from Benni McCarthy and Andre Ooijer propelled Blackburn to a 2-1 win after Tottenham looked to on course for a comfortable victory thanks to a 30th minute goal by Robbie Keane.

The win lifted Blackburn to 15th in the league table, five points clear of the drop zone and with just seven matches remaining in the season, manager Sam Allardyce will be confident that his side will be able to avoid relegation.

Blackburn will be confident of coming away with at least a point on Saturday but will have to put up a vastly improved performance from the last time that the two teams met this season. The match ended in a comfortable 3-1 win for Liverpool and Benitez will be hoping for a similar result this time around.
