West Brom are currently sitting at the foot of the table with just 24 points, seven points away from safety and a defeat for the Baggies on Saturday will all but confirm their relegation come the end of the season.
The Baggies put up a good fight in their last match against Bolton Wanderers after the visitors had taken the lead through Matthew Taylor. However West Brom fought back to equalize thanks to an own goal by Danny Shittu but manager Tony Mowbray admitted that a point was not enough for his side as he looks to close down the gap towards reaching safety.

Stoke City on the other hand will be confident of avoiding the drop after their recent improvement in form that has seen them rise to 15th in the league table, three points clear of the drop zone. Stoke's hopes of surviving the drop received a massive boost in their last match as they secured a narrow 1-0 win over fellow relegation strugglers Middlesbrough thanks to a 84th minute goal by Ryan Shawcross.
